Prove the embedded carbon. Pay what’s real.

Sustys reads every line of your customs PDF, prices the embedded emissions — proven actuals where you have them, EU defaults where you don’t — and writes the EU XML you submit.

The problem

Default values assume the dirtiest production.

When you can’t prove a supplier’s actual emissions, CBAM bills you at the EU default — the highest-carbon assumption. You overpay, and the cleaner producer you bought from stays invisible. The number that decides the bill is the embedded carbon — and almost nobody can see it.

the definitive period begins — the obligation goes live

How it works

One rail, from PDF to filed.

A single forensic pipeline — every stage legible, auditable, and yours to approve.

  1. 01

    INGEST

Drop the national customs declaration PDF. We read it — no re-keying.

  2. 02

    MEASURE

Resolve the embedded emissions behind every CN code (commodity) line — actual or EU default.

  3. 03

    REVIEW

Every line gets a verdict: Ready, Check or Fail. You approve before anything is final.

  4. 04

    RECOMPUTE

See the certificate cost in € and the tCO₂e behind it — default vs proven actuals.

  5. 05

    EXPORT

Produce the XSD-valid v23 (the EU schema version) XML you submit, plus the annual prep pack.

What it does

Read the PDF. Know the carbon. Write the XML.

Three jobs the rest of the market leaves to your spreadsheet.

  1. 01

    Read the PDF

OCR your national customs declaration. Each line lands on the ledger with a Ready / Check / Fail verdict — human-approved before anything counts.

    OCR · human-approved
  2. 02

    Know the embedded carbon

Every line carries its tCO₂e — the producer-sourced embedded emissions that decide the bill. Defaults assume the dirtiest production.

  3. 03

    Write the EU XML

Produce the XSD-valid v23 declaration you actually submit — with the annual prep pack and a guided registry upload.

The climate value

Prove cleaner. Pay less. Emit less on the record.

The default assumes the worst. Proving a supplier’s actual emissions lowers both the bill and the carbon recorded against your import — and steers demand toward cleaner producers. CBAM, made to do what it’s for.

Why we built this

The carbon border only cuts emissions if the cleaner producer can prove it and win the order. Sustys is the rail that makes that proof legible — built by an environmental engineer, not a tax desk.

Transparent pricing

Published prices. No demo wall.

Three plans, one model: importers pay per company, consultants pay per client, suppliers share for free. Every figure lives on the pricing page — because hiding the price is the first markup.

Importer

One company, the full pipeline — read, recompute, file the declaration.

Supplier

A portal to share your production data with the EU buyers who ask.
